Our most popular piano is the Yamaha upright, especially the U1 and U3 models. For many years these pianos have been treasured by music teachers, schools, churches and pianists from amateur to professional.

Our YAMAHA pianos are Wytze's selection of "A" Grade Japanese imports. These pianos receive the same expert set-up as all our pianos and as a result they sound rich and warm with a carefully controlled brilliance. We have put these instruments in Canterbury homes for twenty years and it is safe to say that few of our customers ever regret investing in a second-hand Yamaha piano.

Our voicing work on these pianos includes extensive action, string and hammer preparation to produce a rich, full & warm tone. Yamaha models normally in stock are the U1 (121cm), U3 (131 cm), UX1, YUX and UX3.

The silent system allows the player to practice in silence with the use of headphones.  The piano itself is a fully acoustic instrument, not a digital, with a factory fitted silent system.  The system also features MIDI IN and MIDI Out ports, which allow the piano to easily be hooked up to a laptop, tablet or phone.
Hoekstra Pianos provide the headphones and power pack with these pianos.  All these pianos come with a 7 year guarantee, new piano stool and a free tuning after delivery.
