In the Piano Workshop

In our new dedicated piano workshop next door, pianos are prepared for the showroom or repaired for clients. David Salmon ARPT and Nick McLean work here on actions, keyboards, soundboards, bridges and frames. As Steinway Academy (Hamburg) technician, David specialises in the full rebuild of Steinway grand pianos, a job typically taking three months or more. See the photos below and our Steinway Collection for some examples.
